Benefit House Party with Mayor Nutter a Success!
On Thursday, March 26th, about 75 people from Delaware County United for Sensible Gun Policy and supporting groups gathered together for an evening of good food and drink, music, fellowship, and a powerful speech by Mayor Nutter at the home of Romie Griesmer and Ron Katcher.
Shira Goodman, Executive Director of CeaseFire PA, and Dave Scholnick, Mayoral Outreach Coordinator for Everytown for Gun Safety, also spoke at the event. We were honored that staff leaders from our state and national partners joined us on Thursday night. Media Mayor Bob McMahon and Chester Mayor John Linder were special guests in attendance.
We are pleased to announce that we exceeded our fundraising goal for the evening. The funds raised at the benefit will be used for printing materials; producing videos; organizing events; and conducting economic, electoral, and legislative campaigns for sensible gun policy.
Thank you to Mayor Michael Nutter, all the donors, and all the volunteers who made last Thursday night a special evening.
