Delco United recognizes that those who have been personally affected by gun violence can be the most powerful voices to effect change. We also know that when a social change movement unites across race and class lines in pursuit of common self-interest it can be unstoppable. Delaware County United for Sensible Gun Policy works in partnership with Women of Strength United for Change to bring together individuals who have lost loved ones to gun violence with allies and advocates in the gun sense movement.

Women of Strength United for Change was founded in Chester, PA, ranked the second most dangerous city in the United States, to support the survivors of victims of violence through their grief, their journey through the criminal justice system, and ultimately to healing through advocacy for others. Our partnership channels the anger, compassion, and determination that we need to finally bring sanity to gun policy in our society.
