We marched in Washington, D.C. on March 24th and sent a powerful message that we intend to take our federal government back from the NRA.
Now, we’re headed for Harrisburg on April 11th, where there is an unprecedented opportunity to pass gun sense legislation and take our state government back from the NRA.

Why are we going to Harrisburg now?
For decades, the Pennsylvania House Judiciary Committee was a graveyard where gun sense legislation went to die. The Judiciary Committee never held hearings on our bills, and those bill never made it to the floor of the House of Representatives for a vote.
After the Parkland shootings and the student uprising, Representative Ron Marsico (Republican, Dauphin County), the Majority Chairman of the PA House Judiciary Committee, announced that he was sponsoring three days of hearings on gun-related legislation, including the bills that we’ve been pushing for five years.
Marsico’s hearings are a good start, but they are not enough!
We demand a floor vote of the full membership of the PA House of Representatives on state legislation for universal background checks on guns sales, banning bump stocks and similar devices, establishing “red flag” gun violence restraining orders, and banning assault weapons and high-capacity ammunition magazines.
Please get on the bus to Harrisburg on April 11th and join hundreds of gun sense advocates from Allentown, Erie, Gettysburg, Harrisburg, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, West Chester, and dozens of other cities and small towns across Pennsylvania.
